NDSU scored a big win 24-9 over Cal Bakersfield in their hope opener Sunday afternoon at the Sanford Health Activities Center. TJ Pottinger started things off right for the Bison with a 7-6 decision at 184 pounds. After Dominic Ducharme got Bakersfield on the board with a decision at 197, the Bison won five in a row including bonus point wins from McGwire Midkiff (125) and Cam Sykora (133). In the end, the Bison won seven of ten matches. NDSU hosts the Bison Open next weekend.
