• It was a mess of a tournament filled with forfeits because of the new college match limit rule, but when all was said and done, NDSU rs sophomore Cordell Eaton finished fourth in the 197 pound weight division. Though Eaton was the lone placer for the Bison, Paul Bianchi (125), Cam Sykora (133), Mitch Bengtson (149), and Tyler McNutt (184) all finished 5-1 on the day.  Heavyweight Dan Stibral was 6-1 with a medical forfeit.
• Mary had two placers at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis, IN over the weekend. Junior Tate Barnhardt finished fifth at 133 pounds while freshman Phillip Springsteen was seventh at 165.  Barnhardt advanced all the way to the semifinals before being pinned by Arik Furseth of Wisconsin-Parkside.  On top of his seventh place finish, Springsteen was also awarded the “Most Falls” award.  Springsteen had three falls in a total of 4:53 seconds.
