The middle of Minot State’s linuep features talent and experience, and it starts with senior Zach Berry. Berry, a native of Federal Way, Washington, finished strong last season with a sixth place finish in the Super Regional. His 13-17 record (5-12 vs. NSIC) wasn’t fabulous, but as a Senior Berry should make a strong push within the NSIC. Behind Berry are freshmen Alex Sandoval and Brody Mohr. Mohr had a strong season for Fargo Davies High School last winter, finishing fourth at the North Dakota State Tournament. More imporantly than his placement, Mohr is a great athlete that should continue to develop in Coach Forde’s program.

Colorado native Nathan Baca was 15-12 as true freshman, so after a year of NSIC compeition under his belt fans can expect to see a strong piece for the Beavers this season. Baca’s 9-3 record against NSIC competition stands out and shows exaclty what he is capable of . Behind Baca is Stosh Sitkowski, who brings lineup experience to his role this season. Cody Coffey is a potential redshirt to keep an eye on this season. Coffey wasa state runner-up in Washington last season after finishing third as a junior.
