Rivals Velva and Bishop Ryan are set to battle through the Region 3 dual tournament in Grenora Saturday. Velva is the top seed due to an undefeated in-region dual record including a 54-30 vitcory over second seed Bishop Ryan on January 17. In that dual, Bishop Ryan was open at five weight classes. The Lions should be much stronger on Saturday, which could mean a fantastic match should neither team be upset.
