The North Dakota State wrestling team had a successful weekend on the west coast. Two days after edging Fresno State and moving to 3-0 on the dual season, the Bison crowned six champions at the Cal State-Bakersfield Road Runner Open. Bison champions were Brent Fleetwood (125), Cam Sykora (133), Gavin Sutton (141), Cordell Eaton (197), and Brandon Metz (285).
