NDSU All America Hayden Zillmer wrestled a match for the United States Freestyle World Cup Team Friday morning in Iowa City, IA. Zillmer, who is currently a member of the both the Freestyle and Greco Roman national teams for the United States, defeated India’s Deepak Punia 7-0 at 92 KG in the USA’s 10-0 match shutout over India. Currently, Zillmer wrestles with the Minnesota Storm in Minneapolis. The Crosby, MN native shared 92 KG duties with 2016 Olympic Bronze medalist J’den Cox. Cox wrestled the remaining three bouts of the event. The United States went on to win the World Cup over Azerbaijan with six match victories to four.
