North Dakota State will open it’s dual season this weekend with a tour of Iowa.  The trip starts Friday afternoon in Iowa City with a dual against #8 Iowa at storied Carver Hawkeye Arena.  From there, the Bison travel to Cedar Falls for a matchup with #13 Northern Iowa.  Northern Iowa is the newest addition (along with Fresno State) to the growing Big 12 wrestling landscape, so expect fireworks from these division foes.

It is still a question what we will see from the Bison at 133, as NCAA qualifier Cam Sykora missed last week’s Bison Open.  If Sykora doesnt wrestle, Iowa wrestling fans may see NDSU lift the redshirt of Carter Lake, IA native McGwire Midkiff.  Midkiff is the only other 133 listed for State.
