In two home duals to start the season, The University of Jamestown men’s wrestling team spilt matches with Midland (NE) and Warner Pacific (OR). The Jimmies led #14 Midland 17-15 entering the final match, but Midland’s Aaron Rafalko scored a walk off fall for a 21-17 victory.
Jesus Barajas, Devon Lyle, Jackson Schauer, and Ryan Sanchez went 2-0 for the Jimmies. The big opening weekend in Jamestown continues tomorrow with the Jimmie Open starting at 10:00 AM in the Larson Center.
