Minot State enters the season with a wealth of depth at the 125 weight class and two wrestlers in Dean Arevalo and Liam Hayden who will likely battle it out for the the lineup spot. Arevalo, who hails from Riverside, CA, was 2-17 last season as a true freshman, while Hayden was 5-16. It is still undecided wither Hayden, who was a two-time Division III champion in the state of New Hampshire, will burn an unused redshirt. Hayden could also move up and compete for the slot at 133 as the season moves forward. Behind Arevalo and Hayden is redshirt freshman Nick Pereira of Chino, CA. True freshmen Brandon Meikel and Oscar Nellis will likely redshirt this season.

California native Michael Rangel will man this spot for the Beavers after a 5-9 record last season. Rangel is tough to score on, and he is good at controlling ties. Coach Forde has working hard with the sophomore on developing counterr-attacks to compliment his offense After wrestling 125 last season, Rangel got bigger and stronger last year and should take some positive steps now at 133. Behind Rangel are redshirt freshmen Shane Williams Jr. and Keith Freeman. Williams is from Vashon, WA and finished last season 2-7. Freeman is from Ogden, UT.
