Illinois standout grappler Chase Bittle has verbally committed to continue his athletic and academic career at North Dakota State University. Bittle, who is from Belleville, IL and competes for Althoff Catholic. enters his senior year following a one loss state championship season at 126 pounds. Bittle won the 120 pound title as a sophomore and finished runner-up as a freshman. Nationally, Bittle was champion last October at the Monster Match Nationals and finished second at the Conflict at Carver.
Bittle made an official visit to Fargo over the weekend, and wasted little time making a verbal via social media Sunday evening.

“After visiting campus this weekend for homecoming, I just really liked the atmosphere and the people,” Bittle noted to NDwrestle. “I felt that the coaching staff and team were top level and that NDSI is a place where I can take it to the next level.”
Bittle projects as a 133/141 in college.
