West Fargo’s Jared Franek and Hettinger’s Kyle Burwick, each with three North Dakota state wrestling titles to their name, will represent the state this weekend at the UWW Cadet championships in Akron, OH.  Both wrestlers will compete in the freestyle part of the Cadet competition that starts Friday, June 2.

Franek, who is currently ranked 16th in the nation at 152 by Flowrestling and finished runner-up last April at Flonationals, will compete in the 69 KG weight division.  Franek was a USA Wrestling Cadet national champion last summer in Fargo.

Burwick is slated to compete in the 54 KG weight division.  He was a USA Wrestling Cadet Freestyle All American last summer at 113 pounds.
