The final championship domino has fallen for USA Wrestling, as today the governing body announced that the 2020 US Marine Corps Junior and 16U National Championships at the Fargodome on the campus of North Dakota State University has been cancelled.

Fargo was set for July 17-24.  USA Wrestling recently released their “return to the mat” guidelines for navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, with “Return to Competition” guidelines releasing in the coming week.  Rather than large national competitions that bring together wrestlers from all over the country, “USA Wrestling will focus on working with its state associations to consider local, state, and regional competitions in the coming months.
