Class B Dual Bracket Released: Lisbon and South Border Tops Two Seeds

The coaches have voted and the Class B dual bracket has been released.  As expected, Region 1 has grabbed the top two seeds with Lisbon first and South Border second.  From there, Region 3 champion Velva is third with New Salem and Carrington set to do battle in the first round at the 4/5 quarter.  #1 Lisbon drew the Region 3 runner-up Bishop Ryan Lions in their first match.  Bishop Ryan probably has the biggest gripe from a seeding standpoint.  The Lions defeated New Salem back in November 43-33.  New Salem took some early season dual losses before coming on strong at full strength and winning the Region 4 tournament from the third seed last weekend.  The same can be said for Carrington, who d a slow start to the season but came into form over the last month.    On the bottom half of the bracket, #2 South Border will wrestle Region 2 runner-up Pembina County North out the gate, while #3 Velva drew Hettinger.  Screenshot 2020-02-13 at 1.11.21 PM
