Valley City High School state finalist Jaden Oestern has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Minnesota State University Moorhead.  Oestern, the Class A runner-up at 285 pounds, finished his senior season with a 38-6 record. Oestern was EDC champion, finished second at the Bismarck Rotary, was sixth at the Rumble on the Red.  Former Valley City Hi-Liner Jordan Magnuson was a national qualifier for the Kris Nelson-led MSUM team this past spring in the heavyweight division.
