Bison Brent Fleetwood and Andrew Fogarty scored first round wins at the NCAA Wrestling Championships Thursday afternoon in Pittsburgh, PA.  Both will wrestle in teh round of sixteen tonight at 7:00 PM Eastern on ESPN.  Cam Sykora and Lorenzo De La Riva lost their bouts, and will continue in the consolation bracket.  In the 125 pound weight class, Fleetwood scored a 2-0 decision over Carmen Ferrante of Penn.  Fleetwood used an escape and and third period ride out for the victory.  Fleetwood will wrestle #7 Pat Glory of Princeton tonight at 7:00.  At 165, Fogarty piled on the points from the top position after giving up the opening takedown of the match to Gardner Webb’s Tyler Marinelli.  Fogarty won by techncal fall 17-2 in 7:00.  Fogarty will get his shot at #4 Evan Wick of Wisconsin tonight.

Cam Sykora wrestled tough against Wyoming All American Montorie Bridges at 133 pounds, but was unable to find a takedown in the match and was beaten 3-2.  De La Riva fell to Minnesota’s #9 Devin Statzka.
