After a disappointing 1-2 finish at the Big 12 Tournament, Bison 133 Cam Sykora has new life. Sykora, a native of Wheaton, MN found out this afternoon that he was one of four recipients in the 133 pound weight class of an At Large bid to the 2019 NCAA wrestling championships. The bid means Sykora is now a three-time NCAA qualifier, finishing 1-2 in both his freshman and sophomore season. Sykora joins teammates Brent Fleetwood (125), Andrew Fogarty (174), and Lorenzo De La Riva (174) in qualifying.
There was also a chance that Bison 285 Brandon Metz would receive an At Large bid, but Metz was not selected.
