#1 Bismarck, #2 Dickinson Set For Dual Title Clash |

#1 ranked Demon Chase Dockter scored a 2-0 victory over #3 Konnor Stordalen

As was expected when the bracket was drawn up, #1 Bismarck and #2 Dickinson will meet Friday evening in the NDHSAA state dual final after both teams rolled to semifinal victories over familiar West Region opponents. The Demons won five of the first six matches against crosstown rival Bismarck Century, including two by fall, to take an early 24-6 lead in the teams score. The lone decision in that grouping came when #1 ranked Demon Chase Dockter upended #3 Konnor Stordalen 2-0. Century cut the dual score to 24-12 with decisions from Clay Radenz and Devin Schulz at 126 and 132, but Ryan Ripplinger quickly titled the tide back in favor of Bismarck High with a :24 second fall over Ben Weigum. Bismarck High would go on to win the match 45-25.

#1 Kelby Armstrong of Minot won a 12-3 major decision over Henry Nelson, but Dickinson rolled

Minot held a 13-12 lead over Dickinson after the first six matches were split 3-3 for both teams, but the Midgets then reeled off wins in the final nine matches of the dual, starting with a 6-1 victory from #2 ranked 120 Brendan Johnson over Davian Rios. The Midgets also got a pin from #2 138 Troy Berg, Caleb Usher, and Tanner Jarrett.

Dickinson and Bismarck met for the region crown exactly two weeks ago, with the Demons coming out on top 37-30
