Bison Roll to 35-4 Win Over Northern Illinois

North Dakota State rolled to its second dual win of the season Thursday evening with a 35-4 victory over Northern Illinois.  The Bison were dominant throughout, winning nine of ten contested matches and scoring bonus points from Cam Sykora, Cordell Eaton, and Brandon Metz.  Technical fall machine Sykora, currently ranked seventeenth in the nation by Flowrestling, scored his first tech of the season 15-0 in 5:00 over Alijah Jeffery.  Eaton and Metz brought the Bison crowd to their feet with back to back pins to close out the dual at 197 and 285.  Metz’s :21 second fall was his first official win in a Bison singlet.  Including Metz, four redshirt freshmen got wins for NDSU Thueday evening.  Young Bison Gavin Sutton, Jaden Van Maanen, and Nick Knutson all scored decisions on the evening.
