Bison Right the Ship, Upend Air Force 33-7 for First Big 12 Win

It has been rough going lately for the NDSU Bison, but after heartbreaking 21-20 criteria loss to Iowa State Friday evening, NDSU got its first Big 12 win with a 33-7 victory over the Air Force Academy Sunday Afternoon.  The Bison won eight of ten matches in the bout, including the first five.  Andrew Fogarty and Dan Stibral scored bonus point victories for NDSU, both via fall, and Cam Sykora won a forfeit at 133.

NDSU’s final regular season match is a big one: February 16 at South Dakota State.  The Jackrabbits are currently ranked inside the top fifteen in the country, but expect NDSU to show up and compete for the Border Bell in Brookings.
