For the first time, Valley City head wrestling coach Aaron Larson is offering a fall training camp for any wrestling in the region looking to improve ahead of the High School and Middle School Season. Even better, Larson is bringing the North Dakota State University coaching staff to Valley City for the camp set to begin every single Monday from September 25-October 30. Time is set for 6:00-800 PM in the Valley City wrestling room and Larson is limiting entries to the first thirty responding athletes.
The Hi-Liners will look to rise back to the top of the EDC this season after finishing the regular season undefeated in duals two years ago, but that isn’t the only reason for the preseason camp.
“Our goal is to better our guys in Valley City of course,” Larson noted, “but we also want to improve EDC wrestling and wrestling across the state as a whole. With the North Dakota State staff on board, both of those goals should be a reality.”
