North Dakota State has added its third verbal commitment in Austin Brenner.  Brenner is a 4X Minnesota State place winner, finishing third last season at 152 pounds.  The St. Cloud Tech senior was third at the Rumble on the Red last Christmas, falling only to future Bison teammate Jared Franek by 5-2 decision.  Brenner also grabbed All American status when he finished eighth at USAW Folkstyle nationals in April.

Brenner joins Franek and Indiana’s Noah Cressel as verbal commitments for head coach Roger Kish’s 2018 recruiting class.  With the graduation of Bison 149-157 pound wrestlers Kyle Gliva, Mitch Friedman, and Clay Ream after the upcoming season, the middle weights appear to be the biggest focus of Kish and staff this year.
