As is tradition, the Fargodome will play host to the USA Wrestling Cadet and Junior National Championships starting July 15. Volunteer coordinator Gerad Fugleberg is still looking for all-important volunteers with which this event could not do without. It is especially important that North Dakota continue to put forth a fantastic experience for the wrestlers- and that starts with dedicated volunteers- so that we can continue to make Fargo the destination for the best prep wrestlers in America
Fugleberg is responsible for filling tables with workers on 24 mats through the 8 days that this tournament runs. That is roughly 70 people per session. The jobs are very simple and even elementary students can and have participated in the volunteering. No knowledge of the sport is required for some of the jobs.
All volunteers wlll be given free meals at meal times, snacks, pops, water, a free t shirt and front row action to the biggest high school tounament in the country.
