With the departure of head coach Skip Toops, Moorhead High School hired Kenard Booker to step in and take the lead over what has become one of the strongest AAA programs in western Minnesota. Booker has a long history with wrestling in North Dakota; much of which came under legendary University of Mary Head Coach Milo Trusty at the University of Mary. NDwrestle’s Nate Humann caught up with Coach Booker at North Dakota national team camp, where Booker’s son Kolbe and Spud state champion Samuel Grove are training for Fargo.
Booker gives his coaching bio, discusses what he plans to bring to the Spuds, and lets us know why North Dakota national team camp was the right training option for his guys.
