Sidney, MT prep star Gresh Jones was champion in the 133 pound division in the Heart of America Conference and thus stamped his ticket to the NAIA national tournament to be held in Des Moines, IA March 2-3.  In the championship match, Jones defeated Grand View’s #6 ranked Trevor Murano by 9-7 decision.  Joining Jones at NAIA nationals are Matthew Hruby (125), Jamie Mullins (141), Cody Johnson (197), and Casey Jones (285).  Both Mullins and Casey Jones finished third in their respective weight divisions at the Conference tournament.

Jamestown Qualifies Two

The Jamestow Jimmies qualified two of their wrestlers though the Great Plains athletic Conference.  174 Mike Zupan, a Moorhead, MN native, finished third at the conference tournament, while 149 Brandon Aragon of Pueblo, CO finished fourth.
