Jesse Shearer, who has signed to wrestle at North Dakota State University in the fall, finished his career in style Saturday, racking up a multitude of takedowns on his feet before pinning Bismarck’s Justin Bergquist in 5:06.  The pin was Shearer’s 42nd of the season, tying him with former teammate Preston Lehmann for the Class A record.  Shearer also surpassed the 300 takedown mark in his finals match.  Shearer finished his prep career with four state title appearances and three titles, along with 231 wins.
