Fogarty advanced through the top side of the bracket from the fourth seed, scoring a quarterfinal victory by 16-0 technical fall over Northern Colorado’s Keilan Torres before knocking #1 seed Wyoming Cowboy Branson Ashworth to the wrestlebacks with a 3-1 decision.  Fogarty will wrestle Oklahoma State All American Chandler Rogers in the finals.

In the wrestlebacks, NDSU has three wrestlers still battling for a spot at the NCAA championships.  125 Paul Bianchi will wrestle in a seventh place bout tomorrow morning against Sean Williams of Fresno State with the winner taking the final NCAA allocation for the Big 12.  Williams defeated Bianchi 10-6 in the first round of the tournament today.  133 Cam Sykora and 285 Dan Stibral need wins tomorrow to guarantee themselves a spot in Cleveland for the NCAA tournament.  Sykora will need one win tomorrow to finish in the top six and advance, while Stibral will need two wins and a third place finish to qualify.
