The best sophomore in North Dakota nabbed his third state title over the weekend, and then promptly ran a mile to celebrate. Kyle Burwick, who won championships as an eighth grader and freshman for his dad’s Hettinger-Scranton Night Hawk program before defeating Bowman County/Beach’s Alex Madrigal for the 120 pound state championship Saturday afternoon in the Fargodome, is still on track to become only the third five time state champion in Class B wrestling history.
